Inspiring afternoon exploring the A+D Museum exhibit of Hip-Hop Architecture by Sekou Cooke! Featuring one of our own, Anna!

For many of our projects, we are looking at how best to utilize an existing building. From the building’s geometry to exposed structural systems, each project looks to productively capitalize on the strengths of what is there while removing what is potentially covering those moments.

We saw a lot of exciting things that both reinforced the power of the office but also the power of community. The trends we saw went from voluminous scale to bold colors and patterns. The ‘TAB’ is back, offering a bit of detail from seating to workstations. Ending with proliferation of soft geometries from tables to seating that make things more approachable and tailored. It was great to spend time with all the people that make doing our work such a pleasure!

A timeless aesthetic, rather than trendy. Congrats to Sir David Chipperfield!
